Volunteer Opportunity

Jade Music Festival is elevating Chinese-language music in Canada and beyond.

Inviting Chinese-language musics from all over the world and local emerging artists, the festival is ready to sing out loud! Featuring panels, live music showcases, talks, and workshops, be a part of this journey to spotlight underrepresented voices.

We look forward to having you on our volunteer team!

Front of House volunteers are the face of Jade Music Fest! You will be greeting festival attendees and have first look access to the showcases, talks, workshops, and panels. If you like face-to-face interactions with a crowd of music or language-lovers, this is the job for you!

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Greeting and seating guests
  • Keeping up to date of programming schedule
  • Promoting JMF programming to guests
  • Guiding and directing guests

Photographer volunteers will be our eyes throughout the festival! You, equipped with your camera, will have firsthand access to the events and capture all angles of Jade Music Fest. If you know your way around a camera and want to exercise your creativity, this is the job for you!

Artist Liaison volunteers take care of JMF artists throughout the festival. You will be in charge of keeping their schedule and ensuring their participation in the festival runs smoothly. If you are good with communication and thinking on your feet, this is the job for you!

Artist Liaison volunteers take care of JMF artists throughout the festival. You will be in charge of keeping their schedule and helping to translate between Mandarin and English for the artist. If you are good with languages and communication, this is the job for you!
