Now, we’re excited to extend our impact with the upcoming Pancouver Print Edition 2024 – a special edition of TAIWANfest. This edition will showcase local artists inspired by their ancestral homelands, highlighting their contributions to Canada’s cultural landscape while breaking down language barriers to promote intercultural understanding.

Position Overview:
As a Translator, you’ll play a crucial role in bridging language barriers and facilitating intercultural understanding through the 2024 Pancouver Print Edition – the TAIWANfest issue. This extension of the online Pancouver initiative by the Society of We Are Canadians Too aims to deepen appreciation for visual and performing arts while highlighting the often-overlooked contributions of local artists inspired by their ancestral homelands.

As a Junior Journalist/Videographer, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to work alongside our Chief Editor in capturing and sharing the stories of diverse performing and visual artists. Your role will involve conducting interviews, filming and editing videos, and crafting engaging articles for Pancouver.

Pancouver, an initiative by the Society of We Are Canadians Too, celebrates Metro Vancouver’s diverse arts scene. Through its online platform and Print Edition 2024, Pancouver aims to deepen cultural appreciation, foster understanding, and break language barriers.

As an Administrative Assistant at SWACT, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the Pancouver project by managing office tasks, coordinating project logistics, and facilitating communication. Your contributions will directly impact SWACT’s mission of promoting diversity, fostering unity, and dismantling societal silos.
