Since its formation in 2017, The Society of We Are Canadians Too has co-organized cultural arts events that share and celebrate the diversity of perspectives in Vancouver. All events led by SWACT are approached with the purposes to advance the public’s appreciation of visual and performing arts, create events that present the works of artists, and provide a forum for artists to reach the community. Such events include: Celebrate the Accents, LunarFest, and The Lantern City.
We are seeking highly passionate and like-minded individuals to join us. If you are interested in helping or you are looking to build your resume, here are different positions allow you to utilize the education and training in a real-world application.

We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator who is passionate about social media to assist us in planning, writing, scheduling, and sharing promotional posts across multiple social media platforms. We are looking for an Event Production Assistant who will work closely with the Managing Director and Production Manager to plan and manage event logistics and programming. This role includes participation in program development with a focus on logistical concerns, coordination of program elements with festival partners and performing artists, as well as on-site event management and coordination leading up to, during, and immediately after the event.

We are looking for bright and motivated candidates to join our volunteer coordinating team. This role involves working closely with staff and other volunteers prior to and during the festival. This is a great opportunity for interested students to bolster their HR management experience, learn about unique & innovative arts and cultural programming, and develop skills that would be an asset as they work toward graduate school.
